My name is Steven Kafchinski. I am currently in the process of completing both my MBA at the University of Nevada, Reno, as well as my PGA of America certification to become a Class-A Professional. I plan to have both educations completed by the summer of 2012.

I have a strong passion for business and entrepreneurship, specifically in relation to golf. My passion for the game has afforded me many great opportunities, one of which was to travel the world teaching the game I love. My interactions abroad allowed me to witness how golf can be used as a foundation for which friendships, relationships, and even businesses can be built upon worldwide.

This blog is dedicated to becoming an informative and beneficial site for those wishing to learn more about golf  – be it practically or professionally. Whether you are a 20+ handicap looking for a new swing tip to fix your ever-present slice or you are an established professional looking for ways to improve yield management, I hope to assist you on your journey.

Please join me as I cover a myriad of topics that pertain to golf. I hope this site will aid those who it appears before, and that those who read it will feel encouraged to share their own thoughts and experiences. We are all students and we all have much to learn from each other.

As the ancient Chinese Proverb states, “Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand.” My goal is to converse in such a way that my readers will not only remember what is discussed, but understand in such a way that will allow them to assist others in understanding.
